JCL has firm commitment to high standards in operations integrity, ethical practices and precise execution. The Management board and all Staff play a key role in implementing the following policies within the organisation to achieve its Vision, Mission and Aspirations.

Quality Policy
JCL is committed to providing our customers with quality products and services.
It is JCL's objective to meet our customers' quality expectations through good management, efficient production procedures and superior quality control techniques.
To achieve this objective, JCL will:
- Maintain an effective quality management system;
- Implement operating practices which enable employees to carry out their responsibilities consistently and efficiently;
- Regularly review operating practices to improve the quality and consistency of our products and services;
- Ensure employees have the necessary competence to perform the work that affects product quality;
- Evaluate and monitor the performance of our suppliers to ensure that they supply quality products and services;
- Hold all levels of management accountable for quality in their area of responsibility;
- Monitor the effectiveness of the quality management system against measurable objectives to facilitate continuous improvement.
Each employee of JCL has a responsbility to ensure that this quality policy is implemented.

Environmental Policy
JCL is committed to protect the environment.
JCL will do the following:
- Implementing operating practices which seek to minimise impacts, prevent pollution and minimise the likelihood of environmental harm through work and management practices, continual improvement, training and the use of new technology;
- Compliance with all applicable environmental laws and regulations and best practice in our operations;
- Management review of environmental objectives and targets;
- Waste management to minimise wastes, develop viable recycling opportunities, and ensure proper handling and disposal methods;
- Product development which seeks to combine commercial vability and efficient use and conservation of resources;
- Environmental assessment of new projects, asset purchases, sales and existing operations;
- Protect health and safety of our employees, contractors, visitors and neighbouring communities through the use of safe, non-hazardous and environmentally friendly processess.
- Environmental Incident Response - contingency plans to minimise health, safety and environmental risks;
- Communication of the JCL environmental policy;
- Striving to meet Community Expectations through consultation with relevant bodies and neighbours about environmental matters of common concern.
JCL will encourage concern and respect for the environment. Each employee of JCL has a responsibility to ensure that this environmental policy is implemented.

Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Policy
JCL's vision is to contribute actively and successfully to the construction of Singapore in an efficient and sustainable manner.
In pursuing its mission to make customers more successful, JCL will promote and ensure the Health and Safety of all employees, contractors and visitors at our workplace. In achieving a safe and healthy work environment, JCL commit to abide by all Singaporean laws and regulations, industry practices concerning Occupational Health and Safety as the minimum standards.
JCL will achieve these objectives by:
- Establishing programmes and procedures for managing workplace risks;
- Involving all employees in the development and implementation of the programmes and procedures;
- Committing adequat and appropriate resources to enable us to achieve these goals; and
- Regularly review and improve any safety - related installations, procedures and practices.
The Chief Executive Officers, General Managers, Managers and Supervisors are responsible for establishing and maintaining the Health and Safety procedures within their areas of responsibilities and engaging all employees in the processes.
Every employee and contractor is responsible for following all procedures and their colleagues' and own safety; and to take appropriate actions where workplace hazards are identitfied.
This policy is publicly available and will be communicated to all our employees such that we are all committed to the defined principle and objectives stated above.
